HISTORY
Sonic Drive-In's roots lie at Cottage Cafe, a small eatery within Shawnee, Oklahoma. Troy N. Smith, Sr. bought the restaurant and rebranded it to become an fast-food restaurant dubbed Troy's Pan Full of Chicken. He also purchased Top Hat, a root beer stand that was later renamed Sonic in 1959, since the original was trademarked.
Although the initial Sonic site was established around 1950, the present Sonic Corporation was formed in the year 1990.

You may choose to have your items dropped off at your place of business or let staff handle the setup as well as on-site service and cleanup. If you choose the latter the former, a fee of $25 is necessary.
The buffet includes coney dogs, burgers and burgers chips and coleslaw tomatoes, onions and cheese, as well as lettuce, and other condiments. Plates, utensils, and napkins are also part of the complete-service package.
